The United States of America Or: How I stayed on the phone to repair my air conditioner
Synopsis: Greg Jr., a middle aged black man, is having a rough day. The air-conditioning in his house has gone out, on what is the hottest day on record and he is constantly left on hold by the air-conditioning company.
In addition, his father, Greg Sr., believes in a conspiracy that black people will once again be enslaved in the United States. This conspiracy that his father spews is then questioned by his impressionable son, Greg III.
All the while, his father and son keep pestering Greg Jr. about when the air conditioner will be repaired. The combination of these problems lead Greg Jr. to have wild, radical, and racially-charged hallucinations.
